What is a Micro Marathon? It is basically running/walking/skipping 5 city blocks (0.26 miles) while enjoying beverages, treats, and camaraderie with fellow participants. This Micro Marathon is much easier than running an actual marathon of 26 miles, or 524 city blocks, and probably a lot more fun. (Plus, your muscles won’t be as sore the next day – except maybe your arm that was used to hold your beverage.)
This event is being hosted by SALUTE, INC. and sponsored by the Rosemont Chamber of Commerce, Crust Brewing, Sugar Factory, Northern Builders, Inc., and The Thomas & Christina Grusecki Foundation. There is no cost to register for the event, however, SALUTE, INC. will gratefully accept donations either online or onsite, so they can continue their mission of assisting injured Veterans, Military Service Members, and their families.
